| | | goldmedalwholesale | 11-23-2011 12:39 PM | How many ebay accounts can you send money to the same paypal? I have multiple ebay accounts and been using one paypal for the check out. I was wondering how many ebay accounts can I have going to that one paypal? I currently have four accounts going there, but they are not linked to that paypal the payments are sent there. |
How many? Max is 8 since you can have 8 e-mails per pp. End of answer. |

wrong, unlimited. all you have to do is type in the same email address under the paypal settings in the sell item page.
i would HIGHLY discourage this practice tho. i hope all the accounts you have linked to that one paypal have the same account info.
its been said before, but for whatever reason needs to be said again, spread sales, 2 ebays to 1 paypal, and the info for both should match.
you need to keep things simple. if 1 goes down, they all go down since they are all now linked since you used the same paypal for all |
@seanws30, what I was pointing out is you can register 8 eb to 1 pp max. You are correct though in what you could do on your auction page.
Would I do this? Not at all - I stopped bothering on analyzing business model practice BUT I am in full agreement with your idea about linking and how if 1 goes down, there is a bad bad link. |

linked is 8, correct. BAD idea tho. people get so lazy and think they can just keep photocopying the same account over and over. and the ones that think that this is a safe way around seller limits are dead wrong |
| biggunn | 11-23-2011 08:52 PM | Sure eb's system physically lets you use 10 eb accounts with 1 pp account, but is this smart? No. 1 goes down, they all go down. Plus, this can be a red flag to eb for a manual review.
Only use 2 ebay accounts per 1 Paypal account. Make the user information identical on both accounts. This is a good rule of thumb. |

In your case maybe two.
By virtue of sending funds from an ebay account to a paypal account you made a link. Both ebay/paypal now perceive the accounts to have a link:doh:
You need to really learn stealth. Running multiple accounts is not quite for your skills yet.
Sounds harsh but it's factual :juggle: |
| Sandy D | 11-25-2011 08:35 PM | Why on earth would anyone do this?
It simply is not worth the risk.
It takes nothing to create a pp account compared to losing several because they got linked.
I cannot understand anyone connecting different accounts to one pp.
Have a good solid sales day and you can lose your shirt real quick. |
| TowelKing | 11-26-2011 01:58 PM | Q:
Supposed I had a seller account with 1 paypal linked to it and the same paypal account for reimbursement and paying other fees but on auctions I would put a different paypal account - could they link me through this? |
| gordon | 11-26-2011 05:12 PM | Hi, that's a good advice, to have 2 paypals. I actually did just that, had 2 ebays at one pp and started a third one at a new pp. Here is what happened, after my second listing in the new ebay I was suspended. My items are cheap, they are not ⊗⊗⊗⊗ or dropship stuff, so I thought the reason for suspension was getting around listing limits for a category. The only other explanation could be my credit card's expiry date on the new pp was almost over and I was expecting to renew it once the new one arrived. Nothing happened with the new PP though (so far).
I don't mind losing the new pp and ebay. However what I am wondering and wanted to ask you is this: one of my original ebays have the same email address as the new pp account. Could they link this? If so, is there a way to prevent it? Thanks!
All this is so stressful! |

Sure is stressful And more so when you pretend to be in the USA but have a Polish IP???
Having that original email linked your new account.
Start reading and learning how to be correctly stealth. This account may get lost as well. You can NOT link old to new at all.:juggle: |
| biggunn | 11-26-2011 11:04 PM | You need the stealth book very badly. You won't regret it. |

Hi guys,
Is it ok if 2 ebay accounts that share the same Paypal do not have the same name?
I have 2 Ebay accounts, one is under my name and the other one is under my husband's. They both share the same address and phone number. | I have two acct set up exactly like this ^ and no problem already for a couple of yrs. |
@Artann, your scenario is an exception to the rule - I would not advocate this. |
| GreenBean | 12-08-2011 02:35 AM | Leave them alone. If it has been working leave them going:juggle: |
Exactly - if it isn't broke, don't fix it BUT ALWAYS have contingency plans. |
| newjerseymax | 12-08-2011 10:59 AM | Why do people insist on doing all this hard work to link accounts. Spend the time and effort to do it the right way and you will be worry free. If one account goes down then you have others. In your case one goes down and so do all the others. It just makes no sense. |
