Ebay verification question??

I have a question about phone verification on ebay , when I wen to list my first item on ebay , I used my landline ph that was never before used on ebay and it asked my to double check my info... so i then used google voice with new number to my moblie and it allowed me to proceed, my question is can the see the my name regeristerd to the land line?
