Open fresh a/c from new or same house address?
 

Do you open a fresh a/c from the same house address or use a different house address, if you have been suspended?, i mean its not practical for me to have to move house just to open a new ebay/ppal a/c uk

Depends if you open a buyer or seller account. Using the same address will get you suspended right away again, though.

I was thinking of moving to a new rented house and set up a fresh ac, because when ebay or paypal ask for id, it will be easy to photocopy the bills and send them to them, i'll read the forums again and try to understand, would appreciate PM's from anyone able to help, thanks

Wow... you're the first person who opted to move in order to create a new eBay account. I thought people buying new computers were extreme.. You take the cake!!

You should probably PM about what you should do.

I'm gonna laugh my butt off when you're done moving, list your first item on the new eBay account and get suspended within 5 minutes again :D

If you do that, they going to ask for id, like bank statement or dole letter to show proof of your address, can't get that and that paypal verification, how on earth are you going to pick up the phone to answer the paypal verification:eek:

You don't want to move because at the beginning as you learn how to setup ⊗⊗⊗⊗ account (don't ever give up), chances of you getting those accounts suspended are rather great. Thus, the process of moving is expensive, and chances of you getting suspended are great. Not worth it.

EBay should be dancing for you, not the other way around.

well its much different in the UK with the phone number paypal verification thing, nobody knows how to do it, i've been renting for the last few years, so its not like i'm selling my house, just moving to a new address and setting up again, i really don't know, i had my hopes up i would be reintstated, ebay turn around and tell me to f**k off, 9 years of loyal service and for what, do you know how i feel?

as i mentioned to you via PM - simply change your number with your landline provider (ie BT) and problem solved in and instant

Much easier than an entire house move Lucy - then all youve got to do is give your new number to those you know - when you get your new number to go ex directory & register for the telephone preference service (TPS) and your new number will be free to opt out of receiving telemarketing sales calls

pauluss, the reason why i was thinking of renting a different house, is because i wouldn't be able to use this house address to set up a new ebay/ppal a/c, since my 9yr a/c was suspended on this address, so setting up a new ebay/ppal on this address, would simply have it suspended again

get a virtual online phone number (NOT from skype, they're an eBay company) and you're all set.
