| | | | Thank you eBay. You have been so great to me!!!!! I LOVE YOU no matter what would you say. I ****ing love eBay!!! and along with PP.
so it has been many years since I first started to sell on eBay and I must say I am happy to be part of their system even thought they simply don't want me and will suspend me if I ever use my real info...
I never blamed them and I only wish one day I talk to them and show them all my stealth accounts and how successful and great seller I became... Seriously why not maybe one day. Maybe they will restore my original real account and let me sell on that one and I become a top seller I really want that to be honest with you because I know I can.
Especially these days because of their very high standard seller acceptations I feel sorry for the beginners really, its very hard. You have to deal with eBay and competitors when you ever start selling something to make money.
Just because of this eBay lose many of its individual sellers where you used to find crazy deals not anymore... This is sad.
Took me years to understand my customers its not just responding their messages its all about making them happy knowing how, its an art.
I love eBay because I know I am my own boss and doing less work than any other regular job out there, sitting in my own chair and making money? what else can I say?
maybe you hate eBay and PP now but I bet once you learn the aspect of how to making everyone happy I bet you are going to love eBay too!! Thank you |

| NotAHappyBunny | 12-10-2011 10:57 PM | New sellers havent a clue
Just a few months ago - just as i was getting my stealth feet warm, I overheard a converstaion between a young couple (about 19ish).
Girl: "You should just sell it on eb"
Guy: "But it's ****, all worn"
Girl: "No, it don't matter, YOU CAN SELL ANYTHING ON EB - EVEN SMELLY OLD SOCKS - and they sell for pounds!!"
Guy: "No way!, Ive got loads of sh*t"
Girl: "We'll stick it all on then, they buy anything"
:pound: |
| Shadowmoe7 | 12-11-2011 12:30 AM | lol thats true notahappybunny you can sell anything |
| newjerseymax | 12-11-2011 02:45 AM | Ebay is a love hate relationship for me. I know some days its great, and I love to see money flowing in. However the dumb-asses buyers sometimes make it frustrating.
Its true though follow the new ebay rules and you can do well. Offer the Free shipping, Offer the 30 day money back policy, etc etc and you do get featured better and somehow customers are funneled your way. |

Thank you | do u have any tips on the art of keeping em happy? I've spent so long grinding away at forums to get to where i am now i've practically lost touch of how real customer ppl think, but I bet ebay too has specific features that make the customers happy? Do you mean things like 30 day money back return guarantees, and the free shipping? |
| dburnside | 12-11-2011 03:03 PM | ive made alot of money from ebay and stuck it all in stocks and lost alot of it this year :) fecking bankers!!! at least i can keep putting more profits in and average down, will eventually get it all back :) |
| TowelKing | 12-11-2011 03:13 PM | That is true... you have to learn how to deal with them.
Although I think their overly protective attitude is hurting the site - as a seller I can deal with them. But as a buyer I am probably missing out on some great finds because ebay makes it so hard for sellers to sell.
I used to be able to find jewelry on ebay for pennies... mainly from China but all of it arrived and was worth a lot more than what I paid for it... now ebay shuts down accounts so quickly. It's really not fun anymore. |

Yes some have bad intentions but many (sometimes senior citizens) just simply don't understand Ebay. I never reply to a nasty email with an equally nasty response (although it is tempting). If you clearly explain your position without getting personal you will be surprised how many times you can smooth things over.
On the other hand you will once in a while get a completely unreasonable buyer, and in that case you will have to weigh the risk of a negative against whatever they are demanding. It's a skill you learn with time.
Don't ever take things personally no matter hard this may be. I've completed over 20,000 transactions and I still remind myself all this time. If you can do this you will make more money in the short and long run....trust me. |
| teedon | 12-14-2011 02:18 AM | I used to love ebay as well, even i donot sell on ebay directly but lot of my customers resell my stuff on ebay. But now i have to say amazon are better than ebay. |
