ISP HOST ?? What is that ?
 

Is this particular to every user ??? Or a general number similar to an IP address ....associated with all users. .....

Can this get you banned or linked an ISP HOST ??

The reason I bring this up is beacuse after changing a password on a previous account they sent an email with the IP address it was done from and the IP HOST number as well ?? Obviously the IP was different from the last one BUT what is the IP HOST never heard of it ?? Can that get you LINKED ??

No. It's the IP address of your server, no worries.

Nobody cares about that number, all it says is that user is coming from a particular ISP.

I've never heard of a ISP HOST.

I was wondering what ISP Host meant also. I changed the email address on an account recently and in the email sent to the old address it listed both the IP address and ISP Host that requested the email change. I'm glad to hear it is just the ISP's server and nothing to worry about.

No, that be host name.

I think he is talking about IP address of his server. If you read e-mail header it will show you your IP and IP of your server.

Yeah Modee I think you may be right but it is name ISP HOST ...but i don't think it is anything to worry about....

So host name is the name of your ISP provider and ISP Host is the IP address of the ISP server, correct?

Here is how is looks:

Change of email address request was made from:
IP Address: XX.XXX.XXX.XXX
ISP Host: XX.XX.XX.XXX

(of coarse all the X's are number) :)
