How to file charge back with your credit card against eBay and win?


First there is an old method, you call your credit card company whenever, and say you did not authorize the charge, or whatever you going to say. This usually will result in your credit card company investigating the charge.

We need to understand why.

Because they already paid eBay, and now in order to reverse this payment they must investigate.



There is a better way, more sure thing of a way. When you call and say you did not authorize those charges and they immediately reverse/stop the payment. Timing is everything, because eBay is given money not immediately, and you have several days of opportunity to call your credit card company say you did not authorize the charges. I'm assuming 5 days, but no more than 5. In fact the faster you call the better.

Thus, watch your e-mail, eBay will e-mail you when they are about to charge you.

Have an online account with your credit card, and monitor activity. Once it pops up, call your credit card company, bam, I did not authorize those charges. Chances are they tell you ok, we revered those charges you've been credited back. :)


BUT, WRITE DOWN THOSE REFERENCE NUMBERS ALL THE TIME, SAVE THEM ON YOUR COMPUTER. AND THIS IS EVEN MORE IMPORTANT, CALL BACK TO YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY IN SEVERAL DAYS AND QUESTION IF THEY DID WHAT THEY PROMISED.

Here is a little tip I will share with you. After you register with your real credit card to start selling, switch it to $1 dollar VCC of gift card. They can not legally go back and charge the previous card. At least they have not done it on the 5 accounts I have done it on so far.

WEll, i gotta fast one pulled on me.. someone posing as Jenna Lee Roth, David Lee Roths daughter bought some stuff from me, the items are delivered and BAM they do a chargeback. stupid me,i sent to a different address other than the paypal address. she said she was finishing up some film work, then going to meet up with her dad on tour, and needed the stuff shipped to a diff. address. it was only $24, but still... what a scam! turns out, the credit card belongs to David Litz, a movie producer or something??
thats it people, no more favors!! not shipping anyhwere but confirmed addys, PERIOD!

I only ship to unconfirmed address if the buyer has account for over 30days and has over 50+fb No Neg if not I refund them asap just screen them good..:)
