Selling banknotes.
 

Hi everyone.
I'm not sure if anyone here can help me but here it is anyway:
I have a bunch of banknotes that I want to put up for auction (some old and not used anymore in some countries)
I see on ebay that people sell items like mine, but when I went and put them up for auction my account got suspended within 30 min.
It was a stealth account, all properly done, it was a new one though so I think that might have been why.
But I wonder if there are some rules that I am missing when selling banknotes like I noticed that on most of the auctions "UNC" is written. Maybe that has something to do with it.
Anyway if anyone has some experience with it i would really appreciate the help.

if this was your very first sale that would explain why it got suspended you cant make your very first sales something so high risk like this

it was a 99 cents item or does the price not matter?
with ebay and paypal it seems that everything is high risk now.
any suggestions on items i can sell with a new account so not to run into limitation?

maybe try coins first before bank notes......

ok i will give that a go and see, but it does not make any sense: if the banknotes are not in circulation anymore (haven't been for at least 20 years) how are coins different? or are coins not considered high risk?

anything that can be counterfeit is considered high risk especially on a new account but because you start off selling coins then you should have no problems with the bank notes ..........ebay uses a crawl before you walk approach good luck!

PS do you know if childrens' books are considered high risk? I can never tell anymore with ebay
