Same Name Different Address ?
 

I brought the ebay stealth book but it does not seem to have any way of having the same name. people have same first and last names. im wondering can i create new ebay account with the same name different address. i was suspended from selling last year because my stupid friend got my account linked to his. Also i changed the information in the suspended account : name address and phone number. does eBay keep the previous information?

ebay/paypal keep EVERYTHING. Record may looked changed on 'your' side but the old info is still there for them.

Frankly I'm not a great fan of using the same name even with a different address. But done correctly it is 'workable'.
Hopefully you now know not to do business with a friend. I am sorry this happened. Been a story told here many many times. Friends,family & business do not mix.

Back to your question. You could look at slightly changing your name, like using a nickname.

I would agree on the concept of new and fresh.

I have several accounts with variations of a name or nickname.

I was once asked by an ebay rep over the phone, which Joe Doe are you as we have 500 of them?

I have a good account with a name variation of my own name and my real address. My last account which had same address was banned but this one is going fine. I've been up for just under a month and got some video games and dvds up without any input from ebay.

Yes you can use the same name with another address and change the birthdate on the account and make sure you are not using the same ip address when setting up..and you will be fine..;)

Wait a minute, are you saying you are using the same address as the banned account?
