How to respond to this email...

I got this email a few minutes ago...how soon should I respond and does anyone know what information I will need to have on hand in order to pass this "test" Thank you (I got the email about 7 minutes after I relisted an item--one that has not been selling--if that matters)

We've noticed some unusual selling activity on your account and need your help confirming some information. We're sorry for this inconvenience, but while we're working things out with you, you'll have limited access to your eBay account.

Depending on the situation, some of your listings may have been removed. Also, you may not be able to create new listings for certain items while we review your account.

Tch, tch - it appears that they may think some of your items are not as genuine as you are saying. No way round it - call them and bluff it - just make sure all your little ducks are in place before you call.

Supplier, account info etc.

Good luck with it

1. How long has the account been active?
2. Feedback status?
3. What category of sales? Is this particular item a knockoff or branded?

 DVD sales within the first month is just asking to get limited, especially if they are knock offs. Not much you can do besides what GrannyT suggests. Some people are lucky and said they've passed this limitation without any problems.

I'd suggest doing a lot more research for the future. Sellers that get hit with this are almost always newbies from what I can tell. Just simple and highly avoidable mistakes (eg. selling firearms/explosives, logging in your eB from local library, not using the right picture, etc.). If you had done more research you'd know through the countless times this has been mentioned in the forum that DVD sales are high risk and you need to build a solid foundation and know exactly what titles to sell before going for it.

I would guess that it could also have nothing to do with the DVD at all and it was the picture you listed or how you listed the item that could be the problem. MC999 is very vague overall, it's avoidable nonetheless.
