How Long will it take EBAY to link me based on an old PayPal account?
 

ok, im thinking about using my old paypal account which i used for a ebay account, but the ebay account got suspended, but im thinking about using my same paypal account with my new ebay account, how long do you think i have before they catch up to my and take me out?

i think its atleast 30days, what do you think?

if its atleast 30days, i have no problem making many accounts and doing the same thing, over and over again.

but what about before i list an item, i put a incorrect paypal address and when the auction ends i send them a invoice with my correct paypal address, do you think i will last longeR?

I think about 30 days max. Or before 10 payments to your Paypal account.

Did you try this method? I am thinking of doing the same thing. They suspended my ebay account but my paypal account works at least for now. I listed 5 items on ebay and changed my old paypal email and entered the new email address on ebay( I didn't link ebay and paypal). Let me know if you received payments with your new ebay account and old paypal account.

I have tried every possible permutation of this...
 

experimenting ad nauseum. As soon as an email address is placed on one of the linked Paypal accounts, it is gone. Done. Kaput.

Took from 30 seconds to half a day. Different reasons at times, but result the same.

now you say you are doing it.

OK, so you have an EBAY account, current, you are selling on and deposing the proceeds in to a Paypal account priorly linked to an EBAY suspended account.

Is that correct?

Pray tell what you did. I tried it with two different accounts, with new and slightly more mature accounts. None worked. Some just took longer than others.

Are you saying there is a grace period after which an older Paypal account can be resused?

I am keeping my fingers crossed for you cuz I will be trying the same thing soon...At least till paypal finds it out :)

hey so how is the account going? did it ever get suspended? im just wondering because my ebay acc was suspended in april and I had an back up ebay account from feb 08 that I started selling on but I only have 1 verified paypal account that I would like to link to it using the new email I have registered with my ebay account. I have done this in the past (linking my new ebay email to a new email on my paypal acc) and it worked like a charm. I just want to be sure that it still works on new ebay accounts created after 11/07....

yeah im also wondering the same thing, did it work for you or what?
