Personal information field disappeared!
 

Hey guys I was just snooping around my eBay account today and in

MYEBAY>ALLSELLING>LIMITS>REQUEST HIGHER SELLING LIMITS

... and when I clicked on REQUEST HIGHER SELLING LIMITS there used to be TWO FIELDS. One is 'Confirm Personal Information' and two is 'Call us to discuss your selling goals'

well... now the personal information field is GONE!!! and the call us to discuss your account is only displayed... does that mean my account personal information has matched to PUBLIC records?

my limits are now ABOVE 12K. They went from 1000 to 5000 to 6500 to 12K

Hope to see if you guys have experienced this. I have NEVER called EB or never received a CALL from them. Thanks guys and my account has under 60 feedbacks and it about 8 months old.

You clicked 'REQUEST HIGHER SELLING LIMITS' hence the option has now changed to reflect 'call us to discuss your account'. There is nothing odd or unusual about that. They will want to confirm a few details about the account itself with you before considering a revision of your selling limits. :violin:
No. I assume this is your real account (or is it NOT a stealth A/C hmm ???) See the explanation provided above as to the possible underlying reason for this change you've noticed.

I admit though, that is quite a limit of above 12 K (really ???) for a 60 feedback account under less than a year old. Why do you want to raise the limits on what quite clearly appears to be a low number level volume transactions (but high value items hmm, eh ???) over 8 months ???

SUVE is right you have gone beyond the verify limits that can be done with a click and to increase it further they want to have a chat with you. If you are happy with your limits why rock the boat leave things alone and do another stealth account if you want to increase it.

Better to let things be indeed - you lucked in well - perhaps your account is pretty solid.

In my case when I do not and do not call the limits stay the same. Somehow you were lucky enough to get the raise without calling them.

But be prepared for a call anytime or the limits being adjusted back down.

it is a stealth! Look at my other posts. I have another account that started with 5K limit and NO holds. There has to be something I am doing that is working... and we need to figure it out so everyone can know!

I am now a bit confused by your second reply. I had answered your questions fully as best as I had understood them & you got additional replies to that affect.

Now you are deviating slightly from your initial questions to now wanting to work out what it must be your are doing to get the 'NO HOLDS' on your stealth. The truth is, nobody but EB/PP know the algorithm to this; though on this board there is a LOT of anecdotal evidence from various contributors of what you can do to keep the account in good standing for the long term, the various triggers & red flags to avoid & the things you can do to get restrictions lifted/removed.

It could be anything really....it could be the type of items you are selling, the amount you are selling each week/month/the way you operated the account....this could go on forever.....

Also if you mess up the questionaire, it will be gone next time IIRC.
