How do you change the shipping method?
 

I sold something that I listed it to be shipped UPS because of its size and weight.

Checking this after it was bought and paid for I can actually ship it USPS cheaper because UPS is hitting me with the over sized box fee.

I cannot find out how to change the shipping method to USPS to print the label instead of UPS.

Anyone ever change this and can share how to do this?

I can not remember if you can do that, I just use stamp.com as I have an account there for amazon and then just paste in the tracking number into ebay, you could set up an account direct with usps for these instances there is no fee only the postage cost.

Yes i would just print this label like stated or directly through usps and upload the tracking info on paypal and it will load to ebay or vice versa. I ran into this before as I have usps as my default shipping method but if I need another provider I just print the label directly from there, then upload information. Hope this helps

If doing it through Paypal, go to paypal.com/shipnow and then enter all of the information, shipping address, weight, everything you would generally do if you were printing the regular label. Then just take the tracking number and put it in the eBay listing and they will be sent the standard email letting them know it's been shipped. Hope I could help :rolleyes:

Got it, just signed up with USPS with my stealth name and printed it.

NOTE---

USPS picked up on it not being a true address. This account is 2 years old so I use random addresses back then.

I no longer do this and have not for a long time so those of you who make random addresses and need to ship something like this it wont work.

Same for UPS if you take it in, if the address does not verify it wont accept your box.

Yes when shipping labels with them everything has to be correct. sometimes small mistypes can become a problem as well. Glad it worked out for you

Was not a mistake.

I chose UPS purposely.

Then when someone close to me purchased it I found I can save the buyer tons of money by going through USPS since she was only one town away.

Anyone know if we can change the shipper from USPS to UPS or visa versa once the buyer wins and pays?
