When to start listing on my second ebay accnt?

I just created a new ebay accnt which is linked to the same stealth paypal, this is my second ebay i already have one fully working.

Why would you link more then one account?

No way would I do that.

Way too risky.

One goes down it will more then likely go down with the other one.

And with the 1099 issue you just added more chance of getting a 1099 because the sales of both account will be put together.

Why not put out the effort and make a completely different eb and pp accounts?

right, im just gonna leave it and never use it

i do this after 90 days to have a chance of increasing the selling limits of the 1st account by linking them together on ebay. the i just let account 2 sit and rot

puma007 02-25-2012 05:40 PM

So i shouldn't be listing on it right?

You can...

It all depends on why you opened a second ebay account to link with one pp.

There are some good reasons.

Example on one account I sell electronics and the other I sell beauty supplies. I just do not want to list them together. The items are purchased with same business license so there are good reasons to open 2 accounts per one paypal.

I do have other accounts, but not near the numbers to worry about spreading sales too much.

Also, limits are split through both accounts. If you had 10 before then it will be 5 + 5 now....

I would.

Once you get account 1 solid and nice fb then you could add account 2 but you really have to watch the sales as they both would be put together.

I dont like to link any accounts, just makes more sense to keep them apart. figure you could make 2 other seller accounts which would equal maybe what you could sell on the one you were linking to lift limits, thats a way to get zapped for sure.

in my main account im selling hats and in the second one i wanted to start selling sets of pins, Should i proceed?

munrznnw 02-26-2012 05:29 AM

Keep them separate, nice and clean that way.

I have a few setups where I have "twin accounts" of 2 ebay accounts connected to 1 paypal account. I haven't had any issues at all... I have definitely heard of a lot of people using this method. It's a good way to double your initial selling limits.

It's a good way to get both accounts taken down if you setup and verify the 2nd account too quickly.

Just use that second account as a buyer account now, that would be wise:)
