Ebay shut down my second chance offer
 

My original auction is still up but they take down my second chance offer? That makes no sense.

Maybe they haven't gotten around to your first auction yet. That would be my first guess. However, it seems strange that they would do this, and in this order. Second chance offers are private and only visible to the buyers you sent them to. I would brace yourself and await further action from eBay.

What I can't seem to understand about Ebay is that I have had 4 accounts suspended. The first one was for VERO the second and third were shut down for being linked to my original account and the most recent suspension was because I was "abusing ebay". The thing about that account is that it was only up for a little over a week and I only sold 3 items. Two of the 3 items were second chance offers! uggh!

As for the VERO item that originally got me suspended it was a Star Trek DVD set that I suspect was reported by a competitor.

You will get the "abusing ebay" message even if you have never brought or sold a thing. They are linking you someway, Cookie, ip address, paypal account, address or phone. So you will have to watch out for flash cookies as well.

This happened to me as well. The shut my second chance offer and closed the original that already ended and was about to be paid for!

Customers will more than likely not pay you if they get the notice from ebay that your account was closed.

I'm in the process of trying to get my account from 2006 reinstated. I paid the outstanding fees and have been bombarding them with e-mails. I don't know if they will reinstate since the only thing was the non payment and they didn't automatically reinstate after I paid. I have another account that has been running successfully for over a week so we will see how long that lasts.

E-Bay reinstated my account from 2006. I owed $4.83 in fees. So I paid and was reinstated. Now my question will E-Bay reinstate the accounts they suspended that are linked to the original account that was just reinstated?

That didn't last long at all. About an hour ago they suspended both of my ebay accounts. I'm ready to give up. They claim it is now a NPB suspension but I never bid on anything that they have listed. So I can only assume the account has been hijacked and I am going to have to start all over again with new EVERYTHING! ugggh! The rep in live help assured me that my account will be reinstated with an hour so I have to wait and see. So frustrated!

You have to go on each account and manually ask ebay to unsuspend them.

I guess ebay re-suspended you due to a bug.

I still get the NPB Suspension notice when I log in. However I am able to sell and bid on stuff with no problems now. The rep assured me my account wouldn't be suspended again.

I don't know what kind of games Ebay is playing now. But I was suspended again on Sunday after being reinstated for the exact same thing!!! ughhhhhhhh!
