Is the 21 day hold applicable on echecks?

My first time getting paid with an echeck here so I'm waiting for it to clear. The hourglass in eBay says the payment is being processed and will clear somewhere between the 5th and 9th. I'm just worried that after that happens, Paypal will slam the payment with the 21 day hold. What do you think?
