Questions about starting again

Basically like many others on here I sold on ebay since 2001, as a powerseller for much of that time. My DSRs dropped too low after a couple people left me negative feedbacks, I had over 5000 with something like 99% positive.

I am back on selling under a relatives account who lives in another town and who has a diff last name. I changed everything my ISP, addresses, bank accounts are in other people's names also. There is absolutely 0 links to me and for the past 10 months I've has no problems selling high volume. The problem is they aren't willing for obvious reasons to give PayPal their SS# with this whole new IRS policy.

So currently I have both an old ebay and paypal account with no limits but no IRS SS#. I have two options I am considering. Either signing up for a paypal account in my father's name (he has OK'd it) he has also never used ebay and would be using the same address in the other town as I am currently using. I also report ALL earnings and pay taxes. My concern is that we share the same last name which isn't overly unique but isn't Smith either. My question is would creating a new PP, providing his last name and SS# be enough to link us.

It is important to mention that while I was banned from selling on ebay my account can still be used for purchases and my family's accounts were never banned as I insisted they stop using ebay. So no one has logged in since it was banned. My dad has no exp on eBay or paypal.

The second option would be to create an LLC to avoid having to give ebay my SS#. Has anyone done it since the IRS has started to req SS#? Which would be safer because obviously the former would certainly be less work and less money.

Last paragraph 1st. SSN can still be required even with a LLC.

Dont use any name or anything to LINK you. Seriously stay away from using relatives & parents info.

Because of the variables of selling you should decide yourself what to do.:noidea:

Go back.

Make a plan then post it. Not really our place to say do one thing or another.
