i opened a new ebay account with different name ip address etc etc,but i think i use a land line number that i might of used on a suspened account but i am not a 100% sure,if i link this to a new paypal account with it be shut down??.or what if i just leave this ebay account and open another one with the same details but just different landline phone number,would they be linked even doe the first ebay account wont be used or linked to the new paypal account.

Why not get yourself an excel spreadsheet and divide it up into ebay, PP and your own 'personal details', setup a different sheet for all IP addresses then you wouldnt be posting on here asking us to tell you what to do because you've messed up from stage one. Buy the guide, learn from the beginning and you won't end up losing 5 or 6 accounts before you've sold your first item.

It is a link as the same phone number will be in the same location, i.e. area code.

i did buy the book,but i forgot i used that number a long time ago,but what i wanted to know even doe that ebay account wont ever be used and never be linked to a new paypal account,would it still get me caught if i opened another ebay account account wit the same details but different phone number and link it to my new paypal account account.:redface:

What? I'm confused. First you said that your details were all different and you only accidentally used an old phone number again.

Now you are asking if you can only change your phone number but change the same addy off the old account?

So which one is it.

Personally, of course it's bad to have the same phone number. Maybe you will get lucky and it won't get caught. Time will tell. If that is what you did. Your second post is confusing and I don't understand exactly what you are asking.

While using the same number might not lead right away to suspension, you are risking a possible link - keep that in mind and proceed accordingly. Always good to use fresh info.
