Default Seller Allowance Question

Is the allowance reset back to 100 per first day of the month, or monthly based on the time of your first listing?

So if your lucky enough to have your limits raised on 1st April don't get too excited its probably just e/b having a joke on you and they'll be back down on 2nd April

So, when actually ebay review/evaluate our account about raising our limits? Is that on the 1st of the month or on the 20th (when they evaluate your account)? Cheers.

they review on the 20th, then you will see the results (increases) on the 1st of the next month

False. Increases happen around the 26th or 27th.

Monthly allowances apply from the 1st - period - end of - that's it

That's why they call them monthly allowances

The clue is in the words 'Monthly allowances'

Ebay work on a normal calender - not dates to suit you

Its true its the 1st
However, I've had a few accounts increase in the middle of the month as long as new selling limits....
so I've had double the selling in one month...
Maybe a glitch, either way its more money in the bank

For some reason, this is true. Today (27th), I've got my limit raised.
It's the "account limit" only though.

Anyone know about the "item-based limit"? When ebay can raised this limit automatically (or monthly maybe)? I'm desperately need this to be raised, because I can list 5 item in 30 days.

Cheers.

Item based limit is determined by selling history, buyer fb, buyer protection cases and the items you are trying to sell.

Business accounts are easier but with either you just have to wait it out for e/b to determine you are trustworthy enough to sell more "high risk/branded" items
