| | | | | scrapdog2grand | 04-07-2012 09:23 AM | ebay limits still not removed after 3 months!! Whats it take to get my limits increased?
So I have 4 stealth accounts about 3 to 4 months old and limits never increase like people have stated, 10+ poss feedback and my limits will go up to 20 and such.
1st acount - 4 months old 20+ poss feedback, idenity verified with ebay for the limit increase - all it allowed me to do was be able to list more than 1 apple product, I only list a couple per month.
if I try to request another increase it tells me to call and discuse my sales stratigies, and I'm not really willing to do this yet - I'll just start another account first.
2nd account - verified identity and limits went to 100
3rd account - 3 month old, 90+ sales 100% poss feedback, limits are stll at 10 but the system is allowing me more then 50, but still warns me that I have gone over the limit, has been doing this since day 1, perhaps a glitch in the system - perhaps because it is just adhesives.
4th account - 30+ sales 25 poss feedback, 3 months old no limit increase
any info would be greatly appreciated. |
| NoneOther | 04-07-2012 09:42 AM | Its all done on a per account basis now.
There are no set timeframes or criteria anymore.
When they feel you are a 'trustworthy' seller then the limits will get raised. |
| Thankful | 04-07-2012 09:59 AM | Better just to wait it out - what you see as trusted e/b may not see, there system is rather strange i have solid accounts still waiting for limits but then again i have other accounts which have been up for less time but have limits lifted - thats why i don't believe it's just on trustworthiness (90 days+ dsr and so on..) - i still think the randomness plays a part in it all. |
| bansheezone | 04-07-2012 11:29 AM | Buy cheap items, get that feedback up more. |
| imjustme | 04-07-2012 05:11 PM | It's random from what I've seen. I've opened accounts, got 1 feedback and was able to list 1000+ in quantity, while other accounts with 20 all positive are still stuck at 10 items limit. Eventually they all increase. |
| Sandy D | 04-09-2012 12:01 PM | There is not set time frame.
I have accounts that are 6 months old and 100% all the way around and still have holds and limits.
Then I have account that are new or newer with no holds and no limits.
Heck its ebay, no sense in doing things with any purpose. |

. | Hi May i ask how why some new accounts you open have no holds and no limits?
Are you referring to the selling limit or paypal?? and how old those accounts are??
I have purchased the stealth ebay ebook and opened some ebay+paypal accounts but ALL of them have selling limit of 10 items/$1000 per month.
Just wondering why and how can you open some ebay accounts that have no limit at all. They are opened in 2012??
Thanks so much for sharing!!
** paypal limited one of my stealth paypal account when i failed to provide SSN when i try to load $$ via moneypak.
DO NOT BUY moneypak and load it to your stealth paypal anymore it wont work!! it is asking me to provide all three : photo ID + Telephone Bill + proof of SSN. |
| sleepyboyz | 04-11-2012 03:57 PM | 3-4 months account still not "old" enough, maybe wait until half a year. |
| scrapdog2grand | 05-03-2012 08:32 PM | Well, heres an update, 2 of the accounts just got increases, going on 4 months old.
3rd account still has limits, but the 21 day wait got removed.
4th account had a 21 hold added to it, possibly for 4 refunds in 30 days?45 feedback all possitive.
that account, is an info type thing for access codes. there have only been 10codes that I could not get in about 10 years , and 3 of them came in one month. and another purchased and then decided it wasnt what he thought it was. |
| Sandy D | 05-03-2012 09:47 PM | Be prepared for the 21 day holds to come back on.
Not saying it will happen but be prepared. |

Not saying it will happen but be prepared. | this is the second time that hold got removed from the account, so hopefully its good to go. |
| newjerseymax | 05-03-2012 11:24 PM | 100 Feedback and 1 year anniversary made my holds go away. Havent come back since. I did see it posted that DSR is also a factor.
I would imagine on ebay everyone is having different effects because, if things like shipping speed, open cases, dsr, and value of items come into play then yea of course everyone's results will be different. Too many variables for one constant. :violin: |

| scrapdog2grand | 06-06-2012 06:21 PM | The limits have started to increase, went to 20 and 20 on 2 accounts, and they went up again to 30 and 40, 2 accounts got paypal 21 day holds, perhaps due to a scammer and a charge back, and on one of the ebay acounts I listed something I normally wouldnt list. |

People need to understand the tax id stuff is not concrete on 200-20k.
Again, it is based on those numbers BUT mainly based on the "potential" of you hitting those numbers with quick sales for high dollar amounts.
IRS has put pp against the wall and they have to be ready for anyone who may reach these numbers.
So we all have to adjust to this. |

Same here mak, just had one lifted at 100 FB too |
| Nissan2nr22 | 06-07-2012 08:29 PM | I wish there was a way to remove them easier, but unfortunately it's random over time. Usually takes me over half a year |

So we all have to adjust to this. | Already done, will actually start selling the same item with new image a description soon on the new account, before the old one goes down, so I can build some feedback. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 11:48 PM. | |
