I have made 6 accounts recently. Four of which had the $500 limit, one had a $0 limit somehow, and one had NO limit.
It is becoming harder and harder to even get a 1k limit account.....smh
I took a break from making accounts for about a month because I have about 80 aging....but this new common $500 limit somewhat caught me off guard. Always something new with ebay
Exactly why I am making accounts as fast as I can. Next thing they will have 5/100.
The dirty rats are really playing to the big sellers by doing this. Squeezing out the little guy is what they are trying to do.
Just made 3 more selling accounts and all were 10/500. I haven't seen a 10/1000 account in the last 10 or so accounts I have made. All I can continue to do is stockpile them and let them age.
Oh wow, I thought it was me. I made 6 accounts in one day a few days ago and all of them have the same limits 10/$500. I thought I doing something wrong. Now I know its just normal.
They are either making the new sellers list auction type listings (more profit for them) vs fix priced or their servers are getting full with info. I had to rethink the way I list things now.
If jbluntz says he is seeing more 10/500 accounts then I'm taking his word for it.
2 accounts today, 500 limit. No big deal just make more. I doubt they will go lower. Is there anyway to create a seller account on ebay without having to try to list a item with their new simple listing formats?

Go to Customer Support. Selling. Register as a seller.
You will then be prompted to confirm your information and verify the phone number.

I swear I feel like a bum for asking that. I have over 15 running accounts too, and always did list item, confirmed idenity then saved listing before finalizing. Thanks for the help!
