Buyer is an Attorney

So im selling on a stealth account. Had a item sell last night and received payment. Paypal is holding the funds for 21 days. They havnt did that in awhile which is odd. :suspicious: However i noticed the buyers email on the paypal email i was sent seemed to be that of an attorney or law firm from the wording. When i googled the buyers name I found out the buyer is in fact an attorney in another state.

Has anyone sold to an attorney knowingly? if so, has there been any problems? Should I continue through with this transaction and ship the item?

If your item is legitimate and is nothing dodgy, I don't see why that would be an issue.

Personally, I would not be concerned because lawyers shop online as well. If any issues arrises from the transactions, I would suggest that you handle them quickly and professionally.. Just don't worry.

Attorneys are neither above the law nor aliens. Just treat him like you would treat any other customer. For all you know, any of your customers could be attorneys, using their @hotmail.com or @yahoo.com email addresses.

Agree with that - I have had attorneys purchase stuff - not to worry unless your items are pretty crappy. Bam stated well - just handle them quickly and professionally as needed.

I have dealt with a few attorneys over the years and always make sure I handle it correctly.

Not worth the hassle to play around.

potofgold23 04-15-2012 02:25 PM

If you are selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗, buy a legit version of whatever you're selling and send that to him
