Ebay forcing Australian users to use paypal
 

Hello, for all the aussies just this morning on Sunrise, they interviewed Allistar MacGibon from ebay trust and safety, was obvioulsy about paypal being forced as the only method of payment for all aussies coming very soon.

Here is a link to some discussions on the Sunrise website, so far 33 comments in the last hour, EVERY single one stating how appauling the changes are and how many sellers are now moving to Oztion.com to sell. Some have even decided to take this to the ACCC in australia and sue ebay for competative breach of practises or something like that.

Anyway, i believe that ebay will eventually force everyone in the world to use Paypal as the only method of payment and then i guess 3/4 of the information on this site currently would make it obsolete, not to mention Modee you say you havent used ebay for the past couple of years, looks like your gonna have to bite the bullet and use it mate ;) unless of course the smartarses of this forum figure out a way of getting around this new and ridiculous policy

it may be old news but the reason it was posted was due to the tv report on sunrise which aired yesterday.
