Default Customer missing delivery. What to say?

Hi fellow Stealthanites,

Ok I got a message from a customer that claims she didn't get her delivery. I am not really worried about the outcome. I am just holding my tongue.

Shipped April 3rd... Delivered April 6th... Delivery confirmation. USPS website shows delivered to her address on file

She wrote:

"hello i was wondering if you could tell me when i should exspect my order.
it says it should be here pn the 12 and i checked it says it was delieverd
but i never recieved it yet. it was a birthday present for my neice her
birthday was on the 9th . i had to buy her something else. i order alot
from ebay and usally dont have any problems . please let me know if i
should exspect it soon thank you"

Not such a biggie, it happens lost items, theft or other reasons. However upon further inspection. It was delivered to her PO BOX (ebay on file)..

Really? I mean REALLY???

at the RARE chance, it's possible... I just got my parcel misplaced in the wrong box number by the clerk and they had to go and look for it... and when I got it, they didn't even say Sorry

Have you told the customer that she has a pobox on file and first step is to go right away to the post office and make sure not misplaced?

Maybe she expected her mail to arrive at her home? Smells a bit fishy that she says it hasn't arrived.

I had one the other day say that she didn't get her package but once she told me that the address on file on ebay/pp was her office, so the package supposedly was delivered on a day she wasn't open! I wish some people weren't so dumb. Anyways that's my birthday rant so see ya all later!

Why would she expect it to be delivered to her door when the package was sent to her PO box. o_o

Yes I sent in a nice note about checking with post office and confirming address. Have not heard back. Next thing is she will probably file a claim...lol

Actually It happened to me when I was living in NJ in 2005, I shipped an item to to CA with tracking # and everything, Customer filed a claimed and I fought it. Honestly, from my records, I "think" I shipped it out because I have never had any shipping issues before. The case lasted for months, and eventually I lost. Still to this day, I wonder???? Did I fall for the. "ol banana in the tale pipe."
