Are you tube vidos ok in ebay listing?

I would love to add youtube videos showing my products. Is this allowed? and what site hosts such a thing (I know YOUTUBE!)? I mean learn how to do it... Ive been search everywhere and nothing concrete.

I think - if you try to list in the US is says NO!

If you list in the UK it is ok!

In one of my listing I said search for "the title of my video" on utube... seemed to work.

Here is the link to eBay Guides showing you how to insert YouTube: http://reviews.ebay.com/How-To-Inser...00000004905211

Been listing youtube vids here for years no problem what so ever.

Yes and no. If you used a video in one of your suspended accounts, don't expect to be able to use it again.

I used it a couple times but did not see any increase in sales or anything so I felt it was just a waste of time.

I think it would depend on your product myself.

Certain categories probably would do very well with vids on them.

*** Be careful you do not link a banned ebay account email to your youtube link in your ebay listing. Make sure you make your vid in the matching channel email and info.

Youtube videos got banned back in October 2011.

I remember a couple of my auctions had youtube videos and I kept getting warnings that they would be taken out come October. Of course, as soon as October came that's exactly what happened.

Of course, there might be a way around it but if you just use the link from youtube you'll get in trouble.

I think they are allowed on the UK site.
I just asked eBay via live chat last week if l could post youtube videos on the listings and the person told me yes and gave me the link to the instructions.

You can probably host the video on your own site and embed from it there. I think the problem with embedding is that it involves YouTube.
