Hello, im moving to a new address soon. I am wondering if when i do, i can open a legit ebay account with my real name (cuz its a new address), and my real address and stuff.

Will they still get linked, or will i be ok?

Im moving in like amonth also. I plan on making a new acc too. I'm going to use a diff name because I dont wanna get linked cause of that but the main thing is I will be able to use that address.

You can prolly use the same name but I dont wanna take that chance and risk losing that address.

You will be ok until they ask for docs like DL etc.

Is your legit account banned?

Changing your address wont get you around getting back a legit account if they have your SSN or vital info.

Yes - the name alone wont cause your problems but if they have your ID before, prob best to alter your name slightly or be creative.

Many newbies have posted this.

Believing if they move they can just use the same info and the address change will work.

Not so.

If you legit info is gone then you need to get creative.

Also wondering what to do here. Also moving soon. They have my info, but still have e-bay for buying. And have paypal unlimited. Dont sell that much. Just old electronics and toys from time to time. Not sure if going stealth is worth the effort. Have close friends who can sell for me on occasion. How can we get creative?

First thing is to spend more time on the forum to learn the stealth methods.

Adjusting your name and address a bit is being creative. It has been posted tons of times all over the forum.

Search button is important and spending time reading to learn more.

If you're moving, you should be able to open another account using the same name if ALL other info is different (CCs, paypal, email, address, phone, DOB ect) and if your name is common.

Could you imagine every new John Smith getting linked & banned for opening a new account because of a previous John Smith?
