| | I think it has to do with brands. Tr Rel is one that I know of.. |
Also do not ot try not to revise your items. when you do this they are taken off the search and checked again. I think they might count a revision as another item. |
| Deb707 | 11-24-2008 08:02 PM | I got a selling limit too, I'm guessing it was because I revised my listing twice lol. |
| yaw1800 | 11-24-2008 09:10 PM | i found out yesterday, you must also be Paypal Verified to list certain items. I got a limit yesterday, reworded my auction, found a suspension email this morning |
| dandan | 11-26-2008 10:33 AM | I've had my EBAY account open for years but recently setup a sellers account on it. I sold around 7 VERO items and im getting the message about safety to customers bla bla bla. They want me to wait 30 days before i can put any more of these auctions up.
Am i right in thinking old selling accounts dont have this restriction?
Did anyone find out if 25+ feedback from buyers lifts this limit? |
| Ebay_Victim | 11-27-2008 05:24 AM | i waited 30 days =( i also waited more than 7 days for them to answer my email.
So they finally answered, Now they want me to wait 90 days for review =(
Im thinking is it bc ive been changing my ip and flash cookies too much?
i'm verified, linked and confirmed. I have 20 fbs now
its weird, i can list lancome and clinique but not estee lauder, and they are worth the same value. |
| dandan | 11-27-2008 01:44 PM | ok, so i found out today that they have given this limit to every account. im having to use a friends to sell a few remainders of stock, even that has caused probems, they wont let me revise an item even.
Has anyone found a way around this? or even waited 90days and had there limit lifted? |
| yaw1800 | 11-27-2008 05:38 PM | get paypal verified, i figured this out the other day while trying to list some VERO items .. thats how my limit got removed |
| dandan | 11-27-2008 06:25 PM | but i have always been paypal verified. Are you saying you became payapl verified and then could list 10+ trade name items at once? |
| yaw1800 | 11-27-2008 09:54 PM | i cant say for sure, ebay is unpredictable these days with how they "investigate" sellers .. |
| Ebay_Victim | 12-29-2008 06:04 AM | Ebay says they do this to every member, even powersellers and oldbies. But powersellers don't have to wait 30 days. They just wait a couple weeks. |
| Addixtion | 01-16-2009 03:05 PM | I have 201 feedback and I still have limits :P. Lucky thing I have 2 more accounts. |
| lookslikeboo | 03-05-2009 12:41 AM | One of my accounts is 3 months old with 27 100% positive feedback. However I have 3 MC019: 1/16, 1/18, and 2/13. These are trademark violations. I have not tried to list a name brand since the 2/13 violation. Should I try to list again on the account? I don't want to get suspended... |
| Burst | 03-05-2009 05:32 AM | How does this pertain to a selling limit? |

Hi Everyone, selling limits are very different then violations.. If you have 3 violations I would not repeat would not list anything else that is vero related until at least one of you violations has expired.. If you do list something and it gets martked you will bepulled.... As for limits, this happens only with certain brands, I can't fiqure it all out but by now I know of some that don't get you limited and others that don't until you figure it out you will have to do as they say.. Do Not try to get around them.. Many try and it is a gamble.. If you have many accounts and you want to resk suspension go for it... If you have limits they will not be lifted until your violations have expire, each one is 90 days.. |
Ok Guys, my grammer and spelling seems off today, seems my brain is ahead of my fingers.. I was out too late last evening...I will try to do better!!! |
| aquariusvc | 03-08-2009 07:07 PM | i have 5 copy violation warning but not have selling limit |
| GreenBean | 03-08-2009 07:15 PM | ^^^ What type of account do you have? Like what level powerseller? That is taken into
account with selling limits. |
| moomooj | 05-01-2009 09:47 PM | Ebay just slapped this selling limit thing on me. I have been selling the same item for the last 3 months without any problems. I was able to list 6 items a day. My account has 144 + feedbacks, only one negative. Questions: would it help at this point if I accept the powerseller invitation? I can't wait 30 days, I will starve to death. :( Please help! |
| mmac900 | 05-01-2009 10:37 PM | Selling limits on certain brands are there to stay unless you have like 1000 feedback from what I gather. Some companies you can list and list, while others you can only do 6 per month, thats why you need many accounts. |

This selling limit just happened out of blue. Does anyone know what might have triggered it? | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 05:02 PM. | |
