Stealth&&Shipping. ??

I was wondering what everyone uses to ship. Do you use your local USPS or UPS or Fedex. Do you print labels right off your stealth account and ship in that name? Or do you use the shippers website and ship in your own name?
I have had problems with USPS within the last week. I have about 4 packages that are MIA, show they are shipped out but then there are no more scans. I dropped off 5 more last night, and they are also not scanned so far at all. I call and the people give me NO information other than I can see on my tracking number. Tired of dealing with usps. :help::tears:

PS.. I have scanned threw the paes for a similar questions but didnt see one. Thankx!

Time to get a cheap mailbox....search for mailboxes and you will find plenty of answers.

Iwuvcurrency 05-15-2012 02:44 PM

why a mailbox??

Sandy D 05-15-2012 07:58 PM

You need to take the next batch to a different location and see what happens.

Someone at this location is messing with you or noticed you might not be the person and the address of the boxes you are dropping off.

Do not go back into this po for a while if you are shipping with a stealth address.

If you are shipping from different addresses and names, just tell them you have a business where you sell on ebay for people and ship their items also for them.

I wouldn't tell them crap. IMO the clerks at the USPS don't care if you're stealth or not. Now if you don't have the correct postage or correct label for the specific level of service, that's a different story. Have you item packaged correctly, with the proper postage and your fine. My post office takes my shipments from 22 different zip codes daily and have (knock on wood) never lost or questioned a package.

Caveat. My post office has a 27/7 drop box and label printing station so I don't hand anyone anything, I drop them in a chute.

My local post office NEVER scans the packages. First scan is usually the sorting center of the destination address. Really doesn't cause any problems, although I do get the occasional buyer who questions it on the same day it was shipped.

Never takes more than 2-3 days to get to the destination, so overall I am happy with the USPS.

Because all your packages that have not been delivered correctly, can not be delivered, have errors, or returns will be sent to your bogus address, which you do not have access to and you lose them. A $5 a month mailbox does wonders.

Thanks for all your comments. I shipped 4 last week. And they all say they shipped out out of my town but that was the last scan. And now noones knows where they are. Now I dropped off 5 more this week, I drop them in a drop box at the post office bcuz there is always a long line. None of them are scanned in at all.
Before I had a problem like this with them not bein scanned in. The label was about 3oz off, and one day late for the date. I couldnt pick up te packages bcuz they were stealth and not in my name! UGH! But these new packages where labeled and weiged correctly!
I think anoter post office would be a good idea. There is only one where I live. Maybe just use UPS, even tho they are so expensive.

Remember its "Delivery Confirmation" not necessarily tracking...

I have these kind of issues when shipping media mail?

Priority almost never gets lost...

MM78 05-16-2012 12:34 AM

I ship the majority of my packages from a specific stealth account, Now the Post Office thinks that's my name, lol. I never correct them on it, I figure just go with it.

Always good to form solid relations with the local post office employees.

AmazonStealth 05-16-2012 01:56 PM

99% of the time when a package doesn't get "delivered" doesn't mean it has not been delivered. Most often the case is that the postman is either extremely busy, lazy, forgot, or is a new person on the job. And the same goes for when you initially have your packages dropped off or picked up. They do not always scan and can cause a freakout by yourself and the customer. Very sneaky and selfish customers will pick up on this, although rarely, and say hey my item hasn't been delivered, just because there is no update on the tracking information. I think you may want to switch post offices, because it sounds like the one you are going to is only going to keep giving you issues.

This is not the case at all. Your packages mean you are giving them business. This is no different than a person buying a car with drug money. Do you really think they care how you got it. Money is money. Just because you are stealth doesnt mean you need to be paranoid with everything.

No one said to be paranoid.

This person has a problem with this PO and before they get themselves into having problems on a new account they need to go to another PO for a while to see if this problem continues.

No need to be paranoid but saving an account they worked so hard on is smart.

If the customers do not get the product what then?

Iwuvcurrency 05-16-2012 08:09 PM

Yeah now I have about 9 packages out there worth $100 each, and there not showing up as being scanned. 4 only past the first scan, 5 that havent been scanned at all since I dropped them in the slot.
I have had one person open adispute on pp already bcuz they have not recieved it even though it was scanned when shipped out of
nmy city. That was on the 8th. Hopefully it works itself out. DEF scared to use this post office any more.

rsot 05-17-2012 09:37 AM

Did you follow up with the post office Iwuvcurrency?

Iwuvcurrency 05-17-2012 11:09 AM

Yeah I first called the customer service, and they gave me a case number and the next day a lady at the local post office called me. I made sure they werent off weight or something and they were holding them, she said she had no packges being held. And she really didnt have any information for me at all, besides what the tracking info said.
