Whats the most "watchers" you've had on ebay items?

I think it would be interesting to hear how our fellow stealthers are doing in regards to watchers :D

It can be auction or buy it now.

Anyone hit that 1000 watchers mark? i'm sure it can be done with good-till-cancelled listings.

I have a close friend of mine who sells cars on E/B and he often hits 1000+ watchers with new cars.

I got a GTC listing currently with 190 watchers.

I dont do much auction style and usually get hit with the buy it nows on a lot of my items.

Nice sandy, what do you mean by bids? in auctions? don't really do auctions.

Althought i currently have a shop buy it out now with 400+ items sold (or bids) and still going strong.

At most I had about 100 watchers on an iPhone i listed like 2 years ago before my account got suspended:mad2:

My record for "watchers" was around 65 about 2 years ago with a laptop model Asus g73jh. They just were released, that model needed up being very popular. Today I mostly get 1/3 of that.

almost 200 on a relatively cheap item - the image did it - i strongly believe in the power of images, especially when you have competitors.

Yes images attract the buyers!

Most I ever had was from a 1968 Triumph TR250 that I bought from a storage unit auction the watchers were around 500

Had over 100 on a very very VERO item, had multiples of but had sold about 65 of these before I got to the over 100 mark, long time ago

More watcher means ur listing is superb.. good price, well describe, title contain keyword. Use those infos for ur next listing.

I watched the price jump from £3000 to £150000 in about 5 minutes.

I have 300+ on an item I have had on BIN for almost a year now. During last christmas it was up around 550. I want to say the views are currentlu around 20,000. Insane.

200+ watchers but technically it wasn't mine , it was a mulberry handbag that my mother was selling on EB , her listing was that poor I removed it and did a full new listing for her , so over a 10 day listing she ended up with over 200 watchers I think about 600-700 page views and she got £294 for the bag that she paid £20 for from a charity shop the previous year

I'm a bit confused - I always thought it was a torch relay, as they call it. A relay means you cover a leg and then pass the 'baton' to the next person who will do the next leg... you can see running relays in 60+ days on TV. This means that there is only one baton used; in the case of olympics, one torch.
So it seems that this is not the case.
I don't know how there are doing it but it seems they are just having 8000 people from all over UK running the different legs at different times, with no passing of the torch?
So they each get their own torch??

Anyway, I wonder what happened to that listing... why did the seller end it?
Was it sold?

Oh, I found another listing for the Olympic Torch... ends in 20+ mins from now and bidding is at £153, 800.

I'm sure the winning bidder will open an IND case when he gets his photo though, if he even pays at the end.

When I think about it, it really blows my mind.
The seller wrote the listing title as "London 2012 Olympic Torch".
However, in the very first line of his description, he wrote, "This is a picture of the Olympic Torch for London 2012."
It blows my mind that someone would make a £100,000 bid without even bothering to read the description at all!
Not even one line of it!
I know they are not paying £100,000 for a photo of the torch because the other photos go for below £100... that's a huge difference!
This is a proven beyond reasonable doubt case that they did not read the description at all!
Many buyers just read the title and bid.
This is proven now.

So for those of you who complain that buyers do not read your description, well, your item is too cheap for them to bother.
