blocking bidders
 

If someone sends me a question about my item can i block them from bidding somehow?

Sure - search `Block bidders`on the Customer Support menu of eB ay. Add that name and bang, blocked.

There is normally a link near the bottom of your my e/b page

I block bidders all the time.

I recognize their user name and if they ask a question I dont like I block them. I remember who has caused me problems and left me negatives.

I do NOT copy blocked bidders from one account to another but have no issues with blocking certain buyers.

What kind of qns would you block bidders for?
I'm just curious... you don't have to answer if you find it personal.
Just that I've never had really any question which makes me feel necessary to block that bidder.

I am now creating a list of blocked bidders in MS Word.
I categorise them into top priority must block, and for the others, based on what item they purchased and I give the reason for blocking them.
This way, if I make an account to sell item A, I only need to add bidders who have bought item A... so this makes my blocked bidders list different on the different accounts.
Of course, top priority ones are a must to block on every account.
Those are the really horrendous ones!

Once, I had a terrible buyer.
She later sent me a message from a different account.
Scary to think how many accounts she has.
I block both accounts and hope that she has no more.

Yeah you can just type in google block buyers ebay and click on the first link that comes up and gives you the ebay block page

I block any buyer who asks stupid questions sometimes depending how much of a lunatic they are they will report your items non stop though, has happened to me before

i block bidders on :

the tone and wording of their question

sometimes their user name causes concern

anyone who has given me grief previously

all buyers who have left bad feedback

everyone WHO WRITES IN CAPITALS

everyone who uses excessive ???????????? or !!!!!!!!!
