I have a stealth account and wanted to know if i can send a message to other members with my contact details in it which are from a suspended account or can i use my contact details in the item discription.
Also if a buyer wants to return a item can i message a known shipping address to them?

You can do this BUT the risk of LINKING & an a resultant indefinite suspension outweighs the benefits of you doing this. So not a recommended approach.

You can put an alternative return address on the package recieved by the buyer without having to messaging this to them.

Well thats not very helpful if hes already shipped the item. Hes asking a good question here, are you basically screwed for returns when your using a stealth account?

Why should you be screwed? You have been given good advise - put a return address label on the package - job done

If you use ebay shipping in general and don't want to put your old info (return address) into their shipping system to avoid getting linked.
I know you can just use USPS.com

Then he should have come here before starting out on his stealth trip

He has the buyers email address so he can use that - and why use Ebays postal system? Asking for trouble on a stealth account IMO

Only one reason I can think of where you might NEED to use it - 3rd party ShipCover USPS insurance. Only reason I use it really (get a lot of international orders).
