Safe to buy on ebay?
 

I have been reading alot of this tracking stuff but i am confused. I no longer sell on ebay since its not worth the trouble for me. I want to buy something but dont want my paypal account linked with the ebay account i dont use anymore. Should i do the guest buyer thing or is it safe to use my ebay account to buy?

Most likely your Paypal and eBay accounts are linked already.

If you're not going to use eBay to sale anymore, then don't worry about linking. You have nothing to lose, just buy what you want, and use paypal. It won't hurt your Paypal account unless you're scamming people.

thanks for the info. i logged into my account and i not sure if paypal is linked. is there a way to know? the reason i am not sure is because under where i have "addresses" listed it says "if you have a paypal account you can add your paypal addresses..."

any ideas?

If you use your use the same IP address and don't delete your cookies, then most likely your accounts are linked.
