Staying Stealth - HTML Linking?
 

Hi there, just purchased and read the eBay Stealth guide, however there was one detail which I could not find in there.

Say I had a previous account which got suspended indefinitely but I managed to save the HTML code for the entire listing I had set up for it including pictures etc.

Can I use the same HTML for my listing in my new stealth account, or can eBay link those two accounts because of the same HTML?

Yes you can be linked everything has to be diffirent description pictures etc

It's easy enough to change up things. You'll definitely be linked with the same ad

change everything.... copy and pasting HTML code would make it very easy.

After doing some searching on this forum as well, I came across the following thread:

In that thread others are commenting:
"yes you are definitely okay to use the same HTML code, trying to track that would be a nightmare even for eBay and way too labor intensive"

Truth or not?

I have already decided that I will not take the risk of using the same HTML code because of all the work involved in creating and maintaining a stealth account - I cherish it too much to lose it due to something that I could avoid!

Just change it a little and don't use any identifying logos or images hosted on a previously used account. As long as the HTML code is fairly generic you should be fine.
