Buyer said suspended address in ebay message

Okay so this guy wants to make a return, I said sure no problem i'll email my address to your email. So I did.

But..then he replied to me the address I sent him just to confirm if I gave him the right address..so he retyped that address in the ebay message so now ebay can read it if they decide to do so, it's a suspended address btw.

Should I be concerned and how concerned?

You should be concerned, how much? I don't know. I guess everyone does their returns differently. I will send you a private message right now.

I don't think eBay has the time to search through everyone's messages, not to mention that would be a huge invasion of privacy. As long as the buyer doesn't open a dispute, I wouldn't worry.

I don't think that will happen, me and the buyer see eye to eye.

I personally think you would be fine, as long as you dont run into any major issues within the next month to couple of months. Although ebay and amazon, have email filters, they will most likely not come across this email, unless it is needed for a dispute/case/claim/issue.

I hate it when a buyer does this.

I have buyers who communicate through ebay and some who will send an email.
Never seem to be the same. One demands you read you emails and the others demand you read the eb messages.

You did the right thing but I dont think it will effect you if the buyer has no problem with it. Keep them happy.

Keep the account clean and strong so no one takes a peep into the account manually.

Then go with the flow. Seems very much to me you are handling the transaction well.

Soon as feasible change your return policy to cover your back :juggle:

Deep breaths & on to more sales.
