ebay feedback cannot be removed correct?

once a negitive feedback is left it cant be removed.correct?

You personally cannot remove it but you may ask the person who left the negative feedback to remove...consider though why you got the negative and what you can do to work it out with the buyer to remove the negative.

If you call ebay they might remove it if you sweet talk them and give them a good reason to remove it. And after a year the feedback automatically removes =)

After a year the feedback is not removed entirely.
The comment itself stays on the feedback profile forever.
However - for calculation purposes of your feedback positive percentile Ebay only looks at feedbacks from the last 12 months.

For eb, you do have a few feedback removal/change invites you can send out IF the buyer is ok with changing the feedback.

I think 3 per account. Buyer has 7 days to reply otherwise the feedback stands.

Starting over with a new account give you clean slate :)

Its 4 per account per year for 1000 feedbacks I think.

I've used up all 4 revision requests. So, if the buyer posts a follow comment on his feedback that things were resolved, will ebay then remove the negative?

No they wont, however if it is a negative with a positive comment, or a positive with a negative comment, well that goes against ebays TOS therefore they are obligated

First Edition 07-27-2012 12:17 PM

There are a lot of little ways to get ebay to remove feedback, you just have to know all the ins and outs. paypalpains comment is a good one...

What if its a negative feedback with a positive and negative comment? I'm getting negatives left and right here decreasing my sales...

I recently had one removed. Basically, the buyer wasn't home when the item was delivered and was left a notice card to pick it up. He never bothered picking it up or calling USPS and after 30 days it got sent back to me. The ad stated 'No returns' so I wasn't going to give him the money back/ But I offered to re-ship at his cost. Buyer just said "No f*ck you" and left a negative saying he never got it.

I called eBay and they eventually removed it.

unlikely then, as it's within their rights to leave pos fb, and pos comments, but also note something not great about the transactions. I'd be more worred as to why you're "getting negs left and right here" in the first place, instead of being left good fb.
