ebay problem because of Paypal Tax Interception
 

Hi ok I have had the "Please Provide Tax Info" on my Paypal account for a few months now. But in the past recent month its added "Remove the Limitation" by adding taxes. So been disbursing fine with no problems, probably over $4K up until now. Have $800 in there now. A few seconds ago disbursed $500, Got the message again that "We're transferring Funds." No problem so far.

Ok my problem is now when I go and list an item on Ebay, I keep getting a message from Ebay that my Paypal needs to be Upgraded to Premier or Business Account and it will not let me list anything. I hit the button 'Upgrade Now' but it takes me back to Paypal saying "Our Records Indicate you are already a Premier Member." Is this a glitch or do it has something to do with the taxes on Paypal.

Yeah I thought it "MAY NOT" be a glitch too. Because I know Amazon always announces at least for the most part when they encounter a glitch. Don't know how Ebay handles there's.

So Amazonstealth, you think it has something to do with my Paypal Acct? and Taxes and all??

Whn you log into your PayPal account does it still show Premiere status?

Yes it shows, Acct Type: Premier & Status: Verified.

If you owe taxes you can either. 1. Pay them, and continue on with sales or 2. Not pay them, and not sell. Simple as that.

I've always payed taxes but in my real name, SS#, & address though, just have not got around to searching how to do so Stealth wise. I keep a log for both Amazon and Ebay sales and just carry this all to my tax lady. I use H & R Block so their offices are closed now so will have to find an accountant I guess now to help me figure it out. But in the meantime guess I'll use CCnow until I do.

here's the thing, even stealth. stealth is ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info to ebay and paypal, but you still must pay IRS the taxes.

If PayPal and Ebay can track you down for seller fees, Imagine how sophisticated the IRS system is. Stealth don't mean just sell and **** the government.. Irs don't care if you create 134 Ebay and Amazon seller accounts and sell over 10 million, they just want the SS number attached to the accounts to pay their taxes.. lol

You have to pay taxes in income whether you have the ssn attached to paypal or not...

yes, why does the topic of avoiding the tax issue come up so often when people are saying this is there business????. No ones is hiding from the IRS and if they are its only a matter of time till they catch you. Tax evasion and tax avoidance are both serious offenses and can lead to many other problems that are just so easy to avoid :faint:
