ebay limit raised today!

i got good news today from ebay...my first limit raise on a stealth account..started it beginning of june...sold 10 items last month..10 items this month..waited til this morning to call in..(last day of the month)...did that on purpose..

1.they asked my name
2.they asked me how i was doing
3.i said i was calling about my limits and she put me on hold to check my account
4.she came back on and said your account looks good and you now have 50 items and 2500 a month
5.thanked her and got off the phone..

it couldnt' be any easier..but i was unsuccessful on two other accounts that are still at 10..its weird.
also funny thing is that its not august 1st so i got the rest of today to reach my new limit and then tomorrow i get another 50!!!! how great of a day was that?

wish all the newbies luck...get those limits raised!!!!

There are tricks to upgrade to 5k$ selling limit for account which have 2 months selling history.

Funny thing is that the customer service has sooo much power, i feel like they are the ones that decide weather to give you an increase or not, if you have 100% feedback and max out all the time if you talk to them very convincing and show you are very dedicated and be nice to them they will actually raise your limit before time as well

dam that is surely a high limit..i would love to have 1200 items as i probably have more than 3000 at this moment

I just hit the 90 day mark today(not date of first sale...that is next week...) i hope mine goes up also...dont want to make a call...stuck at the 10/500...

i sold 22 items...i have 18 feedback...i think that is a good percentage...

How long after the 90 days of first sale does it take to go up(if it does)...

I had a stealth last year that had a 540 item limit and $16,800 limit. Which is kind of pointless as you need to pull back when getting close to 20k for the year...THAT sucks. Having to "close" down a super performing account for no good reason. Thought it was "dead" but end of January I was good to go again. With lower limits. Weird thing is, have all 5's and 100% positive with no low marks and this is my 4th month in a row with 170/$5000 limit, are they not automatically lifting anymore? Bogus!

Haven't been on the last few months because I haven't gotten the boot on any of my 10 selling accounts. Shipping fast, selling quality items, communicating and paying Ebay on time do wonders for your accounts! :thumb:

Good to see some success stories.

I've got 1 small bump in my steath but other then that nothing.

Im super speedy shipping 5 stars squeeky clean and am not getting any auto bump love... guess i'll just keep hammering that item limit and hoping for the best.

Or just start making the phone calls.... I guess the worst thing that could happen is my limits don't get bumped up. :noidea:

helpful tip -

if one account has a selling limit of x....

make y accounts

(Your selling limit) =xy

Where x and y > or = 0.

Do you mean 90 days as a registered seller? Because I have accounts I made 3-4 years ago, when I registered as a seller even with 10-15 buying feedback got the exact same selling limits. Also how much of the feedback is selling. Until you have DSRs which happens at 10+ feeds I know you have no chance of having anything increased.

You have to hit your limits every month for them to raise it.

mrbills10 08-06-2012 11:05 AM

i have been...i had the 10/500....i have listed all 10 items...and the amount varies...but i can usually get to around 10 bucks left...with no more items to list
