Canada Ebay transferable to USA?
 

My friend in Canada is giving me her account. Will I be able to use it in the USA? I will have to get my own new paypal as she is not giving away her paypal only ebay. Will it work ? it is an 2006 account so I'm planning on not really using paypal for most of my payment anyway.

You can't add a new paypal to your ebay account. You can have multiple Ebay's to 1 Paypal but not the other way around.

The Ebay account is worthless for selling unless you have access to the account for withdrawls.

I suggest you make your own accounts.

ok I was under the impression it was ok? I've seen people selling only eBay accounts with no paypal? So the ebay packages should always come with paypal?

So when you sell an item on ebay, how are you suppose to get paid? Ebay doesn't collect money for you...Paypal does. Yes, Ebay should always have a Paypal attached for selling.

For buying, a Paypal isn't required but suggested 100%.

yes, I would remove the old paypal and attach a new one. also I thought the pre 11/2007 accounts did not need paypal to sell and can attach merchant account with no problem?

True, any account doesn't "NEED" a paypal and yes you can attach a Merchants Account but the merchants account would have to be in your friends name, and you most likely would need all her info to open it. From what you earlier said, he/she won't give you the paypal account....which to me seems odd.

I really struggle to see why you won't just open your own stealth accounts which you would have 100% control and not rely on someone else accounts.

Is your friends account holly? no selling limits? immune to vero? I don't see what's so special.

that I don't know but I am sure that a few will have an answer for the pre 11/2007 accounts.

Hope so cause im trying to figure out if I should start. The account has no selling limits and if I am allowed not to attach paypal that would be great in my honest opinion.
