MC019 Copyright Breach
 

So i had a listing removed due to trademark breach. Usually this happens if you mention the software your supplying with the particular item i am selling. I do not mention software or show it in any pictures. I am very careful as i had a top trader account banned for good a year ago for many breaches (before i knew about vero and possible bans..ect).

Now its happening again without any mention in the listings of a copyright breach. There are other sellers on ebay selling the same item which are copies, clearly showing pictures of the cracked software on a laptop..ect. (the genuine software does not come on a laptop, it comes on a handheld device).

Why do they not target them?

Some succeed, some fail - have to learn from mistakes.

One of the untold wonders of ebay. I recall on my very long running (real) acct with huge history and great feedback buying and selling, one day listing a designer perfume, not thinking anything of it. listing pulled almost instantly. i remember searching for the same product and finding members who had been with ebay for about 3 months, tiny feedback, managing to list the same thing. bizarre situation that you'll never get to the bottom of!

@ Diamondo; The reason is eBay dont remove the trademarked items. They rely on the rights owner to flag them.

I worked that out some time ago. I think I spoke to them regarding me reporting goods through live chat or something and they said they cant remove them as they aren't specialised in knowing ⊗⊗⊗⊗ basically.

What it really means is eBay can get away with sellers selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ goods and pocketing the fees, as they hide behind the smoke screen that is VERO.

it is very possible that insiders allow certain accounts to go through or 'overlooked' or just that they have figured out how to fool the bots
