Default Are selling used computers/laptops bad for new stealths??

I know high value items are not good to sell on new stealths, but what about used computers/laptops that are no more than $300?

Doable BUT

you would clearly need to describe the item.

Have spectacular photos & do not over-price their value.

I would have a well defined return policy too

Why not? Surely if the customer is willing to pay it, there is no problem?

If it is brand new selling account. On top of the Selling item and $ limits eBay sometimes limits how much you can list in certain categories. Electronics is usually one of them. If you have good pics and a good description it shouldn't be a problem.

how come everyone is saying good pics/description? Does ebay check this on new accounts or is this to avoid any returns/issues with buyers?

In the laptop category there is still a limit on how much you can sell per month on new accounts, real or stealth.

If you can make sure there wont be so many returns and take good photos and good description.

Buyers take advantage of everything they can these days so just be a smart seller. There will always be a loss, but just be ready.

Nothing is bad if you know how to sell it.

I wouldn't go right outa the gate doing that... but after a while sure.

and take it slowwwww!!!! one at a time and let them get shipped, and wait till the funds hold is gone...then list another.

also get ready for this catagory, its filled with crappy sellers that will falsely bid on your items just to take them out. watch your auctions like a hawk and get that block bidder button ready.
