how to retrieve a very old ebay account ?
 

i was looking through my emails and found that i created an ebay account some 10 years ago and i still have the userid

however the userid does not seem to be in the database anymore

any way to retrieve the old account ?

Call and ask them.

Possible that ebay deleted the account because of inactivity. That happens after several years of no acitvity.

Was it a seller's account?

You could try to contact them. However the news may not be good.

i've called them and they say that there is no such account and the userid is available for registration :>

however i'm pretty sure that i had created the userid in 2003 to be exact cause i retained some of the old emails with the userid name.

greenbean do u think ebay will backdate the registration date if i show them evidence of this account?

10 years is a long time, I don't doubt they probably deleted it already ebaycardseller.
