Browsing some auto parts...and look what I found: (userID) theparthouse
This must be ebay diluting the market again.

He has:
- brand new account (less than a mo)
- no feedback
- no store
- no sales

but he was able to list 27,000+ auto parts???

Whats up with that?

System glitch, he got an unlimited account waiting to be banned, or he called in before selling and became a trusted verified company to sell.

He must have called in and got verified.
The fact he doesnt list his 'brick and mortar' business in his auctions doesnt necessarily mean he does not own one.

would have to say this is a bigger company possibly liquidating parts and made a deal with ebay but very good catch

If this is the same company as thepartshouse.com, they are a HUGE distributor of auto parts, one of the largest in the country. This is the type of retailer that eBay wants to attract. So, they likely have a different deal with eBay than most sellers.

eBay will go out of their way for larger retailers and distributors. They want to be more like Amazon.

eBay strated out to be a venue for smaller sellers, but that brings some problems with it. Items may be counterfeit, poor quality, stolen or misrepresented. Smaller sellers customer service ranges from AAA+ to non-existant. And eBay/PayPal are much less likely to end up "holding the bag" so to speak, when dealing with larger, established companies.

Let's face it. eBay has a point. I may not make any friends by saying that, but they do. We've all seen forum posts from sellers (usually younger people with no money) who get into bad sitautions and do not want to have to take care of their customers. Everything is somebody else's fault. They point fingers at everyone but themselves. They uspet the customers, refuse returns and/or refunds and are very abrasive when dealing with people.

Give customers experiences like that, and they will never return.

It all makes sense, but why didn't this company make any sales since July 30th 2012?
27,000+ items and no sales in 20 days? Doesnt make sense.

Either way the items are ⊗⊗⊗⊗/un-buyable or the account is ⊗⊗⊗⊗.

Thoughts?

The account is real.....the listed goods can be listed but set as unbuyable. I've come across this situation before.
