Micheal Moore is making a EBAY & PAYPAL Documentary!

Here is the link:

Screw-PayPal.com :: View Forum - NEW JUNE 2008: PayPal Documentary: All the Information!

Go there and post what you would like to see done in the film, they need our help. Here is our chance everyone!

(below is copied from the screw-paypal website)

Filming is going to begin in August 2008. As part of the negotiations, the director is going to be accepting ideas, stories, and other suggestions as to what should be covered in the film.

He will be checking this forum for these ideas! He has also assured me that he will post in these forums as well.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN BEING IN THE FILM, i.e., telling your horror story and how it effected your life for the worse, LET IT BE KNOWN.

IF YOU ARE IN POSSESSION OF INFORMATION THAT EVERYBODY SHOULD KNOW, LET IT BE KNOWN SO THAT IT CAN BE IN THE FILM.
Post people POST! Let your voice be heard...

AND REMEMBER...DON'T BE CHEAP. DON'T CRY ABOUT HOW EBAY OR PAYPAL SCREWED YOU AND THEN YOU DON'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT.

ONLY YOU CAN MAKE THIS FILM HAPPEN!

I know this is a documentary but I'd like to see Meg Whitman Played by Hulk Hogan.
They do look a like. :)

For real, it's about time eBay is truly exposed and Mr Moore is the one to do it. hahaha!

ebay-sucks 06-06-2008 03:47 PM

Thanks for the info, but I can tell you anything Micheal Moore does is off the wall and totally looney. His past films were made up of allot of untruths and people fell for it. He is just out to take money from the weak and scared which is taking advantage of them.
Sure we all want to expose eb and pp, but this knucklehead would not be my choice for his lack of content and truthfulness.
He might surprise me but it is something I doubt.

Lisa B 06-06-2008 04:09 PM

That's EXACTLY why eBay should be worried, don't you think?

If Moore made up stuff in his past films, so be it, I just hope he portrays eBay as the greedy unethical monsters that they are.

This does not bode well for eBay.

ebay-sucks 06-06-2008 04:17 PM

Ebay has built a armour plate wall around them, the rats are going to do whatever they want until someone competes with them on a level basis.

The leaders within ebay are stubborn and think everything they do it right.

Although I agree with you, its going to take allot more them a Michael Moore movie to even get these corporation leaders to think with their brains!!

Guess it needs to start somewhere. ;)

Well said!

ambercolour 06-06-2008 08:39 PM

if ebay were exposed to the public maybe they will close every single loophole on there system?

jscan 06-07-2008 03:40 AM

i cant wait for this doco, i hope it shows the ins and outs of the rouge company ebay operates as well as its sidekick paypal.

Ballsack 06-07-2008 03:52 AM

I'm not going to believe it until I hear more about this. It seems like such a frivolus doc to make.

zymo 06-07-2008 07:57 AM

I did a google search michael moore ebay

On the first 5 pages of the web search, there were no articles listed about this purported film.

I also did a news search. There were no news reports of this purported film.

Let ME guess... youre a bleeding heart liberal right?

mommyof4justtryingtomake$ 06-07-2008 09:59 AM

I sent him a email yesterday we'll see if it is real or not. I told him I supported the doc. 100% and gave him a TON of links to anti Ebay & PayPal website to check out. I have a hard time believing it is true too but after thinking about it....why would screw-paypal post something like that if it was not true? They would be looking for a lawsuit from Mr. Moore.

zymo 06-07-2008 10:15 AM

This sounds very fishy. The type of films Michael Moore makes cost millions to produce. Production of this movie is supposed to start in August and the cost is going to be covered by the sale of 10.00 coffee mugs on some website that no one has heard of. If he sold 10,000 mugs the gross sales would be 100K which is a drop in the bucket towards the cost of producing a film. The quality of the sales pitch on the website is pathetic.

IMHO - this is a scam.

mantisinc 06-07-2008 10:52 AM

I think I have to agree with you Zymo. The photo of the mug isn't even the real thing...

GreenBean 06-07-2008 10:56 AM

What Are you Saying?

Counterfeit? Selling bad stuff? Careful now!

Methinks a scam as well!

aspkin 06-07-2008 01:45 PM

Sounds like a good way to sell a lot of mugs. :)

Let's see what happens.

imjustme 06-07-2008 04:20 PM

I think it's a PR stunt by that website. I'm sure their intention is to make a documentary with Michael Moore ....but Michael Moore probably didn't hear about it yet.

Jonas 06-07-2008 05:40 PM

Their website says:

Quote:

Screw-PayPal.com has contacted film director Michael Moore as well as two other well known film directors regarding a commissioned documentary on corporate abuse -- with eBay and PayPal as the featured villains!
Michael Moore has in the past gone after big companies so I guess he's not afraid of being sued. But then if that's so, then he might make a documentary on the Scientology protest scene.

mommyof4justtryingtomake$ 06-08-2008 01:13 PM

Here is his email address:

mike@michaelmoore.com

Everyone should email him their horror stories. Even if Screw-paypal is jumping the gun by posting that he is indeed making this doc. I am sure if enough ppl email Mr. Moore links and stories he may just decide to jump on board.

Even if you personally don't like Mr. Moore I'm sure you cannot disagree that the attention his docs get would defiantly get things stirred up in the world of Ebay & PayPal.
