Default Auction with a lot of "new user" bids, are they real??

Hello, I was looking to buy a smartphone and bid on some of them (galaxy s2, priced over 180 just before ending the auction. I looked at the bid history, and I could see a lot of new users with 0 feedback actually bidding for the item, over 3 or 4 in the same auction, is it normal that new users want to buy "high" priced items like these ones? all at the same time?? I think it's shill bidding but I'm not sure, anyway, what you think?

Could be shill bidding - could be fraud - could be competitors trying to screw folx over...options are endless.

Doesnt necessarily mean shill bidding. Especially if there are 3 or 4 bidders.
Could be coincidence.
Also, I know that many sellers out there will prefer to open a new account for the purpose of bidding rather than use their established seller account to bid - just in case things dont work out.

Bid what it is worth to you and no more - doesn't matter then does it?
