Thanks - Ebay Limits finally raised
 

Thanks to everybody for all their advise. Finally I got my ebay limits raised yesterday when I got home from work. I was at the 10/500...waited 90+ days with over 20 feedback...5 stars...the whole works...It was tough not to try and get them raised earlier, but i didnt do it...

I Thought it might, and I mean might, go up on the first of month...knowing the review is right around the 20th of the month...but then I read on another post that someone got theirs raised on the 28th....Well...it was raised on the 28...it wasnt in the monring because I checked...It was later in the afternoon...

So I listed a few BIN items and they already sold and are ready to be shipped..

I hope they continue to go up every month...

One more question...Because its really not the beginning of the month...will I get a little bump at the beginning of September???

Well...Anyhow...thanks...I have read a ton of stories/posts of what to do and NOT what to do..I just hope it keeps going...

What were they raised to?

I got them raised to 20/900....I thought 900 was an odd amount...based off what I have read on other posts...I was thinking 1,000..

but...i didnt have to call in....

Your conduct of the account will determine what bumps you get ;)

Overall, I have noticed that if accounts 'plod along' & fit the (undefined) pattern of ebay, small increments happen.

Like you say in the post you got a 'bump' to 900. Strongly suggests to me ebay are liking what you are doing.

yeah, there have been a couple of outright odd combos recently for uk limit raises too if you search the relevant recent thread in the uk section.... lots of people posting about a standard increase to something like 10/500, then all of a sudden someone comes and posts with a totally bizarre combination! great to hear your story in terms of your patience paying off :)

Congratulations, will ebay automatically bump you or do you need to contact everytime?

I had one go from 80/2000 to 600/7000.... Much more then I had expected... I had another go from 1830/$27,000 to 2700/$40,300 and I barely broke 1000 sales so I didnt even expect any kind of bump. Plus I planned on letting that account rest for couple of months... Weird how the increases are going. Have not checked others yet.

Depends on your selling but most likely by the end of September.

Just thought I would update...

I got my end of the month bump...

I went to 50/2,200...

Very happy with that...Hopefully it doubles at the end of the october going into the holiday season...

keep the dsr's high and feedback 100% if u can and they will go up each month.

basically...be a good ebay seller and you will be rewarded!

Still going pretty slow...by the end of the month(the 20th)..I maxed out the limits...so hopefully they would see i could use more...

I had one return that was, of coarse, sent to my PO box...but they buyer still left positive feedback, because I handled it quick, gave the refund quick...but i think he hit one of my DSR's...i am still at 4.9 overall..but if you look at the account information...there is a "1" in the description...but i still got an increase

So thats my game plan for this month...hope i can sell the items...ship fast..and near the 20th...have the limits maxed out...

I really will not call it a miracle but I guess my name is written in white ink in the ebay books. Okay a break down in the history of the journey. I called ebay after the accounts hits 2 months with over 13 100% positive feedback with 5.00 DSR and they got my limit increased from 10/500 to 50/2000, I then chilled out6 and max the whole thing just 5 days before review.

I woke up yesterday to find that the account have jumped to 55/3800 on it's 90th day anniversary, but right now I have maxed it our again with just a day into the new month of oct. Does anyone think I might get a jump again on the first day of the new month?

Any idea on what will happen to the limits by Monday? Should I expect another jump?

I am in the same boat. Only 2 accounts got upgraded this month, 1 to 240/$9300 and another to 90/4300. The old limits where 90/4300 and 40/2000 respectively.

But the first account's paypal just got a message to upload my SSN#. I might have to let it cool down until the new year.

I got my limits raised this month...A little later than usual which made me think I wasnt getting a bump this month...it went to 100/4,800..which again..helps a lot
