Items disappearing from search

I opened a new account and listed 10 items. Sometimes they show up, sometimes not. Only 6 of the 10 are always showing up. When I click on sellers others items, only 6 show, but if I use the direct link in the email when I listed it shows the item is still up. Then other times I can do a search and it shows the missing items, but other times not. Anyone else have this happen?

They haven't been posted up yet.

I have known items to take upto 36 hours to show on the .uk site.

yes this is normal, depends on what you listed and the category, some items appear instantly, some appear from 24 to 48 hours

I had 100 1-day auctions not show up at all even after 24 hours because I unknowingly had "the best" as the product ID in Inkfrog... and it posted all the listings up with that information. God, I was so annoyed! That was the only time that it has ever gone over 12 hours to become visible for me. Had to end them all, correct the issue and after that they were visible immediately this time.

No, These are not just listed items. Infact they are in day 6 of a 7 day auction. It weird because like I said sometimes they will show up other times the don't show up when I do an exact search of my auction title or when I click on the seller's other items.

It is normal for new accounts. Even some established accounts. eBay bots looks for suspicious things in the listing before they get posted. The less good reputation you have built with eBay the longer this can take.

Like I said. These are not just listed auction. They are on auction that have already been up for 5-6 days. 3 days in all 10 were showing. Then sometimes only 6. Now when I click sellers others items at least 7 show up now, so I guess it is better than nothing, but basically I would be paying for the other 3 and they do not show up in the search, even though the show if you use the direct link from the listing email.

ebay bots/reps go over it before its listed. Its a soft review. This is why people get suspended within a few hours/days of listing on a lot of accounts under 30 days.

Even if you've listed before, it will get a quick view if you are listing something different

That is also why sometimes you list an item for auction and it take 9 hours to appear. I got a buddy who sells on eBay and uses the listing trick on some of his accounts to go over his listing limits. He does some good till canceled multi variation auctions that when he sells to much he can be 20 days in and they wont show up anymore. It is really tricky how they decide what to show and what not to.
