Where has everyone gone?
 

In 12 years of ebay I cannot ever remember going 3 days in a row without a single sale. And with 4 accounts going I find it incredible to not have a single sale in 3 days.
Anyone else experiencing this? Just last month the end of the month sales were out the roof and now no sales at all.

I checked my sales for this time for the past 4 years. I agree I am well down. I realize it is summer vacation but still very quiet. OZ sales are OK... having less problems. Rat buyers love CODs. Think they get a bargain.... little do they know
I include fuel costs for them. They do not pay for shipping but they are going to
pay for fuel and time. :rolleyes:

Ebay-sucks, are you sure it's not the best match that's effecting you? Check your current search standing for your listings.

Have not checked that. Should have thought of that when I see sales are ok with one line of items I sell with the competition.

this weekend has been very poor, my items all sold below there average price. my mistake i guess.

i agree sales are down !!! just when after christmas u hit the ground with no sales.. ebay trends i m sick of

Summer always slow for me, (But its good--have lots of time in the pool with my kids) :)
However, the Holidays are always good for gift sales--July 4th has traditionally been 40-60 pkgs for me, as well as Labor day- guess its that folks are at home.. then dry in September, 1/2 of October--then starts the rush!

Apart from my volume, mine is much the same. Northern hemisphere summer is slow. It is
a long break to have to spend money for children.

Sales are down throughout ebay, this is the plan.

It's the summer; the summer is almost always slow for most niches. Just keep building your business, by the time summer is over with you should see good sales again. It's the slow part of the year. BUILD! BUILD! BUILD! :)

I usually do 1g a weekend in sales on BuyItNow.

Over this weekend I only did 300! Really slow. Guess I will close down for a few weeks and then post again to see how things are going.

I think all buyers came to me. I sold 96 items of $50 ($20 profit) yesterday and 81 today so far, still going. I'm swamped with orders, not getting enough sleep and tired.

Hmm..Its been normal for me lately...Ive been having steady orders, about 10-12 a day is my avg.

i always get money!

I normally do not have slow summer months, from Jan thru Oct sales are constant and on avg the month ends up about the same has has for many years, but the last several days had been dead on all my accounts selling different items.

Seriously, I haven't been to bed since I wrote the post above. After 36 hours I think you don't need sleep anymore.

Like I said, I haven't been to bed for 36 hours when I wrote the post above. I didn't say I didn't pay attention to my wife, I just said I haven't been in bed. There's lots of other places, you know. :D

Lol, you need little works to do the tedious stuff for you. Working by your self can mean a lot more profit, but it is very hard to work with little to no sleep, trust me I know. Get people to help and you can work on expanding even more. Good luck with your problem! :D
