old ebay buyer account convert to seller?
 

hi all hope you can help, found an old 2010 buyer account i had 10 fb all buying but wanted to know , converting it into a seller account the paypal will be new but with all the same info as the ebay account.
the seller account was all paid in cash/postal order so didnt need a paypal then.

any advise?

i have a buyer account from 2010 , there was no paypal linked to it.

If i try to sell on this account they will ask for a paypal, so if i set this up- will i basically be starting from day 1 - as if i have just reg'd a new ebay account also.

Yes, you will have the same selling limits as a new seller creating an account today would have.

Now, if you'd have sold just 1 item on the account, potentially you'd have a jewel on your hands!

Yes, it will work, but depends on which VCC you will use

You will still need a pp IF your eb platform of choice says a pp is required to sell.

this is actually a very interesting thread to me.
have the same situation, but when i try to convert it asks for a phone verification. can this be avoided by providing ebay with a vcc?
