| yotano211 | 09-07-2012 11:45 PM | Need some help I have a ebay account with 4 feedback, account is 4 months old. It's one of my Christmas accounts so I am going slowly.
Anyways, I sold an item for 40, shipping is $4.85 US and $14 worldwide, except some countries. The buyer is from Canada and bought the item, auction listing. The buyer hasn't pay yet and I dont expect him/her to pay.
The buyer left me negative feedback saying "the shipping was 4.85 and now it's 14, bad seller".
**My question, if the buyer does not pay and I open a nonpaying claim against him, will the feedback be erased?**
I have already tried to contact the buyer to please revise your feedback cuz "I am a college student, blah blah feel sorry for myself story". I just want it changed. |
| unkown5454 | 09-07-2012 11:54 PM | The transaction basically never happened. It may not remove automatically, but it can be removed. |
| AmazonStealth | 09-07-2012 11:58 PM | It can be removed, but is not a guarantee. I would just try as hard as possible to make sure the buyer does not pay, so the feedback will most likely be removed when you call customer support. |

Block the buyer when all is resolved
Check your listing description to make sure the postal differences are obvious:juggle: |
| yotano211 | 09-08-2012 01:16 AM | I really hope it gets removed, the account is sitting at 66%. I might have to call up ebay when it's all resovled if it doesn't get removed. I haven't left feedback yet to him/her.
I already blocked him on 1/3 of my accounts and will put in the others next week.
The auction listing says how long it takes to ship overseas, but doesn't say how much is the shipping charges. The buyer can easily see that when they click on the shipping charges for his/her country.
I might have to add that for all future listings.
This is my first time something like this has ever happened to me. I am sure other members have their own stories. Nothing new, right?
Guess just wait it out until I can open a unpayed claim on buyer. |

Can I send the buyer a new invoice with say, $25 for shipping. But I think I might get in trouble for that. I better not do this. |
| GrannyT | 09-08-2012 07:48 AM | I would just leave it for now as you are not using the account. Wait for two weeks and you will see that on the listing, under items sold, on the drop down box to the right, the opportunity to reclaim FVF. At this point you can open a buyer not paid complaint and close it at the same time thus denying the buyer the opportunity to pay. Ebay will then remove the neg although you may have to ask.
Have no further contact with the customer. He/she can do no more as they have already left feedback.

| GrannyT | 09-08-2012 07:49 AM | It may actually be 4 weeks but it will happen |
1. Open an unpaid for fee.
2. Send email to buyer explaining international
3. Remove feedback by calling/emailing eb
4. Block bidder
5. Move on |

I actually have the auto non payment complaint thing on, set for 4 days and closes on the 3rd or 4th day. I have it set at the min. amount of days.
saves tons of time
*thanks to everyone |
| GreenBean | 09-08-2012 08:00 PM | This applies to everyone:
Keep in mind, that with the change of seasons, the run into selling for the holidays is starting. Start protective measures to make sure ya'll are selling at year's end.
Go over ALL listings, check that everything is clearly stated. Reduce where possible anything to allow a buyer to hurt your account.
re-activate phone numbers if needed. Spell out postage costs, spell out feedback procedures
Control the account :thumb: |
| yotano211 | 09-08-2012 08:19 PM | My Christmas started 4 months ago then I quit making new accounts. I will start again soon. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 07:45 AM. | |
