| | | Artann | 09-13-2012 02:38 PM | Ebay adopts new logo today! Here is the link to the new Eb logo and all the info about it, for those that are interested : http://pages.ebay.com/announcements/new/index.html
The main reason for the new logo is: per Eb "eBay's new logo celebrates our history but also looks to the future -- reflecting the clean, contemporary, and consistent experience that is eBay today! Like eBay's new look!"
Since when Eb is clean and consistent? lol |

| makaveliagain | 09-14-2012 02:56 AM | I liked it back int he early 2000's when the FVF was about half what they are now. |
| imjustme | 09-14-2012 06:49 AM | The new logo looks like it was done by a 5 year old with Microsoft Paint. eBay is bleeding customers, both buyers and sellers, and they hope to fix it with a new logo. A new logo isn't what eBay needs. The logo should be the least of their worries. A rebranding isn't going to save the sinking ship. Sure a few people might go "oh wow! lookie! new colorful logo!" but it isn't going to fix the problems. |

Eb bought so much air time that I don't think we can find one person from here that is from US too that haven't seen their advertising lately. |

| Does remind you of ebay though. It has the look of a cheap knockoff of what it used to be way back when. Not as full as it used to be. I have seen their advertising and heard it on the radio, where they seem to be trying to get people in to sell their stuff on ebay. Maybe all that buyer protection without consideration is starting to bite, as scammer buyer or scammer seller it makes no difference, as it is still just a site full of scammers to anyone that gets scammed. |

So true - looks kind of a like a ikea ripoff with colours or something.

Ideas? Hmm reflection.
Instead of wasting money on logo development, should have implemented seller feedback service and also better help for seller PROTECTION. |
| BigCJ | 09-16-2012 05:51 PM | I see the new logo only as an excuse to lockout more paypal accounts to collect interest to pay for the 'designers' who did this. |
Actually you know what`s a good logo they should use? Get copyright access to Calvin cartoon guy and...contact Burning (look him up as user here) and take HIS AVATAR... |
oh wow! lookie! new colorful logo! :suspicious: that one was for you imjustme! |
| nammage | 09-16-2012 09:07 PM | New logo is so plain and boring. What the hell were they thinking? |
| rayraymond1218 | 09-17-2012 11:15 PM | is it because the logo? i feel sales are slowing in the past week.

any one feels the same? | Haha yeah i've noticed the same thing bro, definitely the new logo... it sends mixed signals... looks like a knockoff - attracts more knockoffs... and in result we get less sales lol |
| bpdoz | 09-22-2012 07:52 AM | I prefer the old logo.. The new one looks plain.. |
Or should have had a contest for DESIGN NEW EB LOGO - yeah all our eb members...come design a logo...first prize is account immunity for life! second prize to last prize is....instant banning ha. |
