i saw the show on vh1, they sell all name brand used goods on ebay

I'm pretty sure all websites faces VERO checks eventually down the road if there are 3rd parties listing it. However, if the merchandise are sold by the company itself, they most likely won't be annoyed by the VERO parties because they are reputatble and are authorized to sell these products.
